Situated in the hills above the pretty fishing village of Castro, this old stone house offers accommodation for 2 people. Built in a similar way to the Trullo but without the cone shaped roof, these old stone structures were originally used for storing hay and are locally known as Pajare or Pagghiare.

Description

Il Fienile is set amongst the hills of Marina di Marittima, with amazing views over Castro and within walking distance down to the sea where guests will fall in love with the beautiful coves.

Recently renovated and simply but tastefully decorated, this old barn features a mezzanine floor with balcony looking onto the lounge area with a local stone fireplace. Surrounded by pretty gardens with fruit trees and vegetable gardens, this is a very romantic place.

800 mt (half a mile) from the sea and beachside restaurant and only 1 km from Castro the Fienile is accessed from a shady park through the well kept garden featuring Mediterranean flowers and plants.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of € 150.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):

• Final cleaning fees of €35 are an extra and to be paid locally;
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €6.00 per change per person;
• Late arrival fees. We will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

• Electricity included;
• Heating (per week if required) - not available.
