From the main square, that is a true architectural mosaic of styles, a steep path climbs up to the old town centre, one of the most fascinating to be admired anywhere in Apulia. Fortified towers, a meander of lanes, steps and stairs, arches, doorways and balconies adorned with bright red geraniums create a magical atmosphere.
