The Amalfi coast is accessible by road from Salerno, or by following the picturesque and dramatic coastal road from Naples via the Sorrento Peninsula. By water, ferries and hydrofoils depart frequently during summer from Naples, Sorrento and Capri.

The Amalfi coast provides a diversity of options in terms of holiday styles and things to do. The hill town of Ravello is suited to travellers seeking a slightly quieter environment with a vibrant cultural program, splendid views and historic villas with special maintained gardens.
