Il Canovaccio is a wonderful apartment, built in the typical Positano style and recently renovated to high standards to provide comfortable and stylish accommodation in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. The setting is idyllic, the colours vibrant: filled with sun from morning through the afternoon, the rooms open to a long balcony, framed by a thick bougainvillea and tiled with bright yellow majolica.

DescriptionA big picture window dominates the living room, offering terrific views of the zone of Fornillo immediately below, of the mountains and the sea ahead; in the colder months, the fireplace adds to the intimate and cosy feeling of the apartment. Outside, a small but charming terrace shaded by a lemon tree is equipped for dining al fresco during balmy summer evenings. Il Canovaccio is the ideal choice for two couples or a small family, with two bedrooms of the same size and standard. Refundable security depositA refundable security deposit of € 300.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):- Cleaning fees are included in the villa rental price with 3 hours of maid service midweek, final cleaning on Saturdays and on departure;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

- Electricity - included;
- Heating (per week if required) - €120.00 per week.

As the road winds out along the coast road from Sorrento, one can tangibly feel that they are leaving the city way of life behind. Local farmers (contadini) with their three wheeled Ape Utes tend the olive plantations that string along the rocky hillsides and every now and again the bushes open up to the stretches of blue sea and sights of Capri and the other islands in the Bay of Naples.> more
