DescriptionThe spacious interiors have been elegantly and tastefully furnished throughout with valuable antique furnishings and unique objects d’art which blend in prefectly with the cool marble floors. The end result is a property of an outstanding quality. Located just 3 km from the lively centre of the famed sea-side town, Positano, the house is reached via a wide flight of gently inclined steps (174 steps) from the main road which leads to a welcome, shady path. Once past the wrought iron gate at the end of the path, one would think to have arrived in paradise! Entering onto a delightful sun terrace situated to one side of the house one is perfectly positioned to enjoy the magical panorama of the sea below. Outdoor equipment includes deck chairs, in-built seating and a parasol. On a slightly raised level, there is a pretty cane-covered pergola; under which there is marble table for 12 people for convivial meals. From here guests can enter the first floor of the main house where the bedrooms are located. Access to the ground floor of the house can also be gained by descending the beautiful (covered) external staircase (17 steps) which leads down to the lovely courtyard, partly covered by a vine pergola under which there is a second marble table to seat 12 people. Tall cypress and mature trees surround the tranquil courtyard in front of the villa. Underfloor heating throughout makes this accommodation very pleasant for an off-season holiday too.
