Technical DescriptionRental villa La Macina in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast, Italy: Independent villa in two apartments on two levels and separate levels for swimming pool and lemon grove.
First level: 22 steps down from street level is a spacious terrace with a dining table for six. From this terrace a door opens into the living area of the larger apartment with TV. This area opens into two double bedrooms, one with a balcony overlooking the sea. Both have en suite bathrooms, one with shower the other with both shower and tub. Second level: From the first level, 22 external steps lead down to the smaller apartment. Here there is a beautiful terraced lawn with dining table. A French window opens into a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub and shower. An internal door opens into the living area, with sofas, a dining table for six and an open kitchen. To the back is a small shower room. Third level: Going down a further 20 steps is the fruit-lined (lemon, plum and apricot) path to the pool area. At the pool (10.5m x 4.5m), sitting under the pergola, looking out at the sea, with Capri on the horizon and Positano to the right, you will feel like you are in your own private paradise. Three elegant steel lounge chaises and six foldable deck chairs allow you to stay under the sun or rest in the shade while enjoying the sensational view. A few steps past an outdoor shower, hidden behind stones and a bougainvillea-covered iron cupola, is the fourth terrace. This too faces the sea, Capri and Positano and is shaded by lemon trees. Under the pergola of lemon trees is a hand-made round ceramic table and four iron chairs. It's a perfect spot for drinks at sunset.
