Villa La Moressa is a charming small villa a short walk from the middle of Praiano, with a splendid view over the Mediterranean sea and the Amalfi coast. The property is set in an elevated and quiet position, in the pedestrian area of Praiano and provides easy access to shops, bars and excellent sea food restaurants. The local bus serving the Amalfi coast stops 300m from the villa entrance. The villas rooms are light and airy, featuring brightly coloured hand painted majolica tiled floors, typical of this area. Both bedrooms are spacious and each has access to its own furnished terrace with wonderful views up the coast to Positano, the Sorrento Peninsula and the island of Capri.

Description The small seaside village of Praiano which overlooks the sea has two beaches, La Praia and La Gavitella. The centre of town is recognised by the Moresque church tower at its centre and is surrounded by seafood restaurants, trattorias, bars and shops. A short walk of 300m leads to the private (lit) footpath leading to the entrance of La Moressa. The entrance to the villa is reached by descending 15 stairs from the footpath to the front door which opens into an entrance corridor. On the right, a separate kitchen features a solid wood dining table seating 4 people and the well equipped cooking area with a five-burner stove, electric oven, a large fridge with freezer, and electrical appliances including a toaster, kettle, blender and microwave. The living room, adjacent to the kitchen, is a spacious and comfortable room with brightly patterned majolica floor tiles. A large panoramic window with sea and coastal views floods it with light and it is furnished with a table and chairs, a comfortable sofa and satellite television. A curtain leads through the arched doorway into a double bedroom with an antique dresser. The bedroom is illuminated by a large arched window which leads onto a private terrace with a magnificent sea views and furnished with a table, chairs and a large white umbrella. The larger bathroom for this bedroom featuring green hand painted majolica tiles and bathtub is situated in the corridor reached through the living room. The second bedroom is reached from the entrance hall, which has a large window directly overlooking the sea and opening French doors leading onto a second and even larger panoramic terrace with the same sea views. The terrace is furnished with sun lounges, a dining table shaded by a large white umbrella and four chairs. Adjacent to the bedroom is a smaller bathroom with shower.
Position La Moressa is situated 100m along a private footpath from the road leading up from the main coastal road. 15 steps lead down from the footpath to the front door. Car parking is available at a private garage approximately 800m from the villa at an additional cost (see below). A very good general food shop can be reached within a moments walk whilst a choice of bars and restaurants are within 5 mins walk. The pebble beach at La Praia can be reached on foot or by public transport. - Positano - 7 Km away

Praiano is set in an enchanting location among the beautiful inlets of the Amalfi coast at 4 km from Positano and 9 km from Amalfi. Once an ancient fishing village and today a prestigious seaside resort, Praiano is know for its fine climate and authentic atmosphere. Praiano's beach, the enchanting Marina di Praia, is below the town at the end of the untamed Praia valley. In Praiano you will not find tourist crowds, nor colourful streets full of shops and boutiques, but only authentic locals with friendly faces, old cottages and white churches looking out to the sea. > more

Special Notes for Villa la Moressa, Praiano, Amalfi Coast, Italy Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €300.00 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure. Services included and extras: - Cleaning - Final cleaning is an extra payable locally in the amount of €80.00 per week and includes a complete clean and change of linen on Saturdays for multiweek rentals;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
- Additional maid service can be requested at an extra cost;
- Electricity consumption except for heating and airconditioning is inclued in villa rental;
- Heating or air-conditioning, if required, are payable locally at the rate of €70 per week;
- Kitchen gas and water costs are included
- High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of € €50 per week
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
