Located a few kilometres after the centre of Sorrento, La Piccola Baia is part of an exclusive enclave of private villas and apartments, enjoying uninterrupted views of the isle of Capri and the whole bay of Naples. Once a fishing community, the remnants of the small port of San Montano have been converted into a semi enclosed swimming area with a small sandy beach for exclusive use of the community.

DescriptionNoted for its privacy and tranquillity, this tiny community can only be reached by a private street descending off the coastal road that connects Sorrento with Massalubrense. Entering the road, one is immediately taken by the flowing bougainvilleas and Mediterranean atmosphere it presents. La Piccola Baia is a bright and airy attic, blessed by sea breezes and flooded with sunlight and sharing access with the apartment below, La Baia. Comfortably furnished, it is ideal for those who love the beach and sun, but also like to explore the magnificent Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast. A large sundeck equipped with sunbeds and umbrella is pleasant for relaxing, whilst the a separate panoramic balcony with table is ideal for romantic dinners overlooking the isle of Capri. Refundable security depositA refundable security deposit of € 250.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):- Electricity: Extra; metered and charged at € 0.35 per kw;
- Mandatory final cleaning: € 50.00 per week
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
- Heating (if required) - included in electricity consumption.

Situated approximately 14 km from Sorrento, the Nerano locality is a primarily agricultural/fishing community which in bygone centuries had little to do with its neighbouring areas. Blessed by a pleasant climate, wonderful outlook and steep sun drenched descent towards the sea it was the enclave of a small number of families who handed down their interests from generation to generation. Even today it is possible to recognise a strong concentration of the family surnames.> more
