La Baia is conveniently located within few kilometres after the centre of Sorrento, in an exclusive enclave of private villas and apartments with uninterrupted views of the isle of Capri and the whole bay of Naples. Once a fishing community, the remnants of the small port of San Montano have been converted into a semi enclosed swimming area with a small sandy beach for exclusive use of the community.

DescriptionNoted for its privacy and tranquillity, this tiny community can only be reached by a private street descending off the coastal road that connects Sorrento with Massalubrense. Entering the road, one is immediately taken by the flowing bougainvilleas and Mediterranean atmosphere it presents. La Baia is a bright and airy apartment, blessed by sea breezes and flooded with sunlight.
Its terrace is shaded all along by canvas canopies and is equipped with outdoor table, chairs and sun beds. From the entrance, a staircase leads to a vegetable garden with grassy area, shaded by fruit trees and a gazebo with table and chairs. Comfortably furnished, with air conditioned and heating, La Baia is ideal for those who love the beach and sun, but also like to explore the magnificent Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of € 300.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros): - Mandatory final cleaning fees: € 60.00 per week
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

Other information- Sorry no pool, but the sea is only a few steps away and has a breakwater;

As the road winds out along the coast road from Sorrento, one can tangibly feel that they are leaving the city way of life behind. Local farmers (contadini) with their three wheeled Ape Utes tend the olive plantations that string along the rocky hillsides and every now and again the bushes open up to the stretches of blue sea and sights of Capri and the other islands in the Bay of Naples.> more
