DescriptionIl Melograno is a solid townhouse, built last century of local tufacea bricks, on a site marked once by a pomegranate tree. It has been skilfully renovated to high standards, retaining its original character. The rooftop terrace has spectacular views over Capri and if furnished with sundecks and a large market umbrella. A pedestrian road leads to the house from the tiny but compact village of Termini, with all shops and facilities: a pub, an excellent restaurant, ceramic shop and limoncello workshop. A large swimming pool with breathtaking views, part of a residential club, is located at walking distance from the house. Its position is ideal for those who are not driving: a few steps to the piazza, with all shops, bus stop and very good restaurant; 300 m walk to a swimming pool, easy access to bus service to beach and other destinations of the Peninsula. The whole area is heaven for walkers and food lovers: it is crossed by a network of ancient pedestrian tracks, linking every hamlet of the Sorrento Peninsula to old farmhouses, little coves and bays, local restaurants and trattorias. Refundable security depositA refundable security deposit of € 500.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):- Mandatory cleaning fees: € 80.00 per week including 2 hours of maid service twice weekly, final cleaning on Saturdays and on departure;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €6.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees – we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

As the road winds out along the coast road from Sorrento, one can tangibly feel that they are leaving the city way of life behind. Local farmers (contadini) with their three wheeled Ape Utes tend the olive plantations that string along the rocky hillsides and every now and again the bushes open up to the stretches of blue sea and sights of Capri and the other islands in the Bay of Naples.> more
