Lakes, Lake Garda, Peschiera
Located at the bottom of the Lake, Peschiera del Garda is a wonderful lakeside town constructed on the banks of the Mincio river. Close to Verona and with magnfiicent views up the lake, the town is convenient and a wonderful holiday destination by virtue of its proximity to major attractions including Venice, Verona, the Lake Garda and Gardaland, Europes second largest fun park.

- Sunbake and swim on the pebbly beach
- Enjoy a day or two at Gardaland fun park
- Cycle up the Mincio river to Valeggio or Mantova
- Catch a ferry to Sirmione, Bardolino or other villages
- Play golf at the Paradiso golf club
A little further afield - Visit Verona with its Roman Arena and Juliets house
- Catch a train to Venice for the day (1.5 hours by train)
- Visit the historical centre of Mantova
