Apartment Alloro is a modern renovated apartment that easily fits within the luxury category. Designer furnishings and the best Italian finishes have been used to create a standard of accommodation that is hard to find on the Cinque Terre. There are great views over the sea from the apartment and small terrace in addition to A/C, wireless internet, two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens it is a great holiday solution.

Description Entering a secure door from the street,a staircase leads down to the lower level apartment with two double bedrooms (both en-suite), an open plan living area and a further terrace overlooking the village and coastline. The bedsitter upstairs can also be rented. The residence has been recently restructured using Italian marbles, ceramics and furnishings to provide modern interiors, first class facilities and utmost comfort. The apartment offers a full kitchen (dishwashers, cooktops, ovens, fridges, utensils), LCD satellite TV, iPod station, ADSL, air-conditioning, leather couch and a washing machine. We warn however that to gain access to this apartment it is necessary to climb 50 stairs from the centre of the village or walk to the top of the main street and a further 30 stairs. For a more central location (no sea views), look at Apartment Rosmarino.
Location:Apartment Alloro is located 50 steps above the cosy harbour of Manarola ( 5 mins by foot) and a further 2 mins from the train station. For those travelling in cars, there is a flat walkway that comes round from the luggage drop off area, followed by 30 steps to the apartment.
This locality
Manarola is the second village from the south and lies between Riomaggiore and Corniglia. A flat pedestrian walk leads from the station to the principal piazza that leads up to the centre of town along a sunken riverbed and down to the port area where the 'strada di amore' (walk of love) arrives from Riomaggiore. In the Cinque Terra it is hard to find modern, clean and accessible accommodation, however here in Manarola we have managed to find some wonderful solutions. > more

Special Notes for Apartment Alloro Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €100 is payable on arrival at the villa. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros): - Final cleaning costs are included in the villa rental amount. Additional mid week cleaning may be requested but will be charged as an extra;
- One change of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Utilities costs (except heating) are included in the villa rental price;
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
Other information - Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
- Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.

Nearby localities
Located at the northern end of the Cinque Terra, Portovenere is one of Italy's most famous 'post car' villages. Brightly coloured buildings along a protected harbour lead to a picturesque promontory with an antique church and swimming area. Connected to the nearby Cinque Terra by ferry, bus/train or along a walking trail (14km) it is a popular holiday destination for those wishing to do excursions around Tuscany and the Cinque Terra areas.> more
The second of the Cinque Terra towns from the northern end (between Monterosso and Corniglia), Vernazza is probably recognised as the prettiest of the 5 villages. The small fishing port is protected by a tallish headland and has the benefit of a small but lovely sandy beach, overlooked by the main piazza, and the colourful buildings cascading down the hills surrounding it. > more
