Apartment Timo is located 5 minutes by foot above the town of Manarol. The comfortably sized bedsitter has been fully renovated in a luxury and modern style incorporating top Italian materials and furnishings. The large terrace is furnished with table and relaxing chairs and the apartment provides A/C, wireless internet, en-suite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher).

Description Comprising two apartments with a common (and independent) entrance above the harbour of Manarola, this residence is ideal for a family or group of friends. Entering a secure door from the street, on the left is a large bedsitter apartment with a very large terrazzo overlooking the Cinque Terre coast and up the main street of the village. A staircase leads down to a further apartment of the same standard on the lower level that is also available for rent. We warn however that to gain access to this apartment it is necessary to climb 50 stairs from the centre of the village or walk to the top of the main street and a further 30 stairs.
Location:Apartment Timo is located 50 steps above the cosy harbour of Manarola ( 5 mins by foot) and a further 2 mins from the train station. For those travelling in cars, there is a flat walkway that comes round from the luggage drop off area, followed by 30 steps to the apartment.
This locality
Manarola is the second village from the south and lies between Riomaggiore and Corniglia. A flat pedestrian walk leads from the station to the principal piazza that leads up to the centre of town along a sunken riverbed and down to the port area where the 'strada di amore' (walk of love) arrives from Riomaggiore. In the Cinque Terra it is hard to find modern, clean and accessible accommodation, however here in Manarola we have managed to find some wonderful solutions. > more

Special Notes for Apartment Timo Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €100 is payable on arrival at the villa. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros): - Final cleaning costs are included in the villa rental amount. Additional mid week cleaning may be requested but will be charged as an extra;
- One midweek change of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
- Utilities costs (except heating) are included in the villa rental price;
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
Other information - Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
- Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.

Nearby localities
Corniglia, the middle town between Vernazza and Manarola is a hill town and significantly quieter than the other towns. It has a lovely main thoroughfare with a shaded and quiet piazza with an outdoor cafe. The thoroughfare finishes at a lovely scenic balcony overlooking the sea.> more
The second of the Cinque Terra towns from the northern end (between Monterosso and Corniglia), Vernazza is probably recognised as the prettiest of the 5 villages. The small fishing port is protected by a tallish headland and has the benefit of a small but lovely sandy beach, overlooked by the main piazza, and the colourful buildings cascading down the hills surrounding it. > more
