Close to Syracuse, Fanusa is a small residential area of mainly seaside properties situated just 7km from the old centre of Syracuse. The seaside is mainly rocky and the water is crystal clear whilst nearby (3km) are wonderful sandy beaches. The old centre of Syracuse (Ortiga) is a wonderful island of sprawling laneways, majestic churches, wonderful restaurants and panoramic seaview bars for sunset aperatives.
