The property set in several hectares of shady lawns and well kept classical gardens features a refreshing infinity pool overlooking the forested hills and a beautiful shaded gazebo equipped for alfresco dining, a wood fired pizza oven and full commercial quality kitchen.

The villa is of Florentine neo-classical design and has been beautifully renovated to ensure that the historical features have been maintained whilst the requirements of modern day living are fully catered for. The ground floor is dedicated to daytime living with lounge rooms, a large internal dining room to cater for everyone, commercial standard kitchen, studies and an imposing entrance hall. The two floors above comprise bedrooms, all individually styled and mostly with en-suite bathrooms and some lounge rooms and suites for those looking for a quiet corner.

Description

Handy to the main north-south motorway and equidistant from Florence, Arezzo and Siena, Villa Bonarotti is one of those hard-to-find rental villas combining country living, spacious gardens and all within walking distance to restaurants and cafes (15mins).

The gates to the villa open off a short country lane near a secondary road linking some nearby villages. The double electric gates lead into a large gravel driveway area and pathways lead through gardens up to the entrance to the villa. To the left of the villa is a large covered gazebo with a long dinging table which is adjacent to the kitchen and a wonderful spot to enjoy alfresco meals. Further around to the rear of the villa is a large lawn area shaded by a variety of tall trees and equipped with a barbecue and wood fired pizza oven. A track leads down approximately 100m to the terraced swimming pool area surrounded by olive trees, with a shaded pergola, outdoor sun furniture and overlooking the hills.

The front door of the villa opens into a grand entrance hall which provides access to two living rooms, a study, the kitchen, dining room, a bedroom suite, the elevator and staircase. On the air-conditioned first and second floors are an assortment of bedrooms, suites and living rooms, each with its independent styling, period furniture and lovely bathrooms, renovated, but retaining their antique features.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €1500 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

General Information:

• Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure.
• The season for pool opening is from May to October;

Services included and extras:

• Cleaning - included in villa rental are mid week maid service, 3 times per week. Final cleaning is an extra payable locally in the amount of €300 and not included in weekly rental.
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
• Additional maid service can be requested at a cost of € 15 per hour
• Telephone calls and internet connection will be based on consumption at 30 cents per unit;
• Electricity is included up to 300kw and additional consumption is an extra at €40 cents per kw
• Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas at €3.50 per unit
• Kitchen gas and water costs are included
• High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of €50 per week
• Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
• Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
