Villa Giusti
Tuscany - Florence - Montecatini |
|
We love Montecatini. It is a renowned spa town connected to a picturesque hill town within easy excursion distance to Florence, Lucca and the Chianti district. 200 metres from the main piazza of the hilltown 'Montecatini Alto' are the gates to Villa Giusti, named after the piazza. The villa enjoys a panoramic position and its gardens are terraced on the hillside. The imposing main structure is on a flat area with a large scenic terrace furnished for alfresco dinners, aperativi and enjoying the views. The villa itself is comfortably furnished in a Tuscan country style and very well appointed. On the next terrace down, reached along a garden path is the swimming pool which also enjoys commanding views.
