All of the rooms in Apartment Terrazzo enjoy wonderful views over the surrounding hills and valleys through the three broad porticos. Meanwhile the furnished balconies under the porticos provide an enticing temptation to enjoy sunset aperativi and al fresco meals.

Sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms, there is also the opportunity to set up one of the bedrooms as a further living room for groups of four.

Description

The interiors of the apartment feature exposed timber beams, stone walls and terracotta tiled floors. The style of furnishings is contemporary with fabric colours tending towards lighter colours to enhance the homeliness of the apartment.

In the living/dining room, two comfortable sofas look out towards the valley, or can be oriented to view the 26' wide LCD screen with satellite TV, DVD, CD and surround sound. The dining table situated at the rear has six place settings.

The kitchen at Apartment Terrazzo requires special mention. The original stone cooking area and stone sink have been lovingly restored and serve as a reminder of days gone by. Meanwhile, in the style of the whole villa, the 'new' kitchen has been installed separately and comprises an oven and four cooktops, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Sleeping accommodation consists of three bedrooms - a king size (with ensuite), queen size and twin. All beds are of the finest quality as are the finely woven linen sheets and coverings provided by the owner.

The property has a shared BBQ area with large wooden table under a large pergola in the garden on the ground floor.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €200 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):

• Mandatory cleaning fees: € 100.00 per week including cleaning on Saturdays and final cleaning on departure. Daily maid service is available at an additional cost of €35 per day;
• Heating is charged according to the consumption of energy;
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
• Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
• Telephone - Not available;
• Internet - Euro 30 per week unlimited use;
• Electricity - normal consumption included (excludes heating)
• Heating (per week if required) - based on energy consumption at cost

Other notes

• The season for pool opening is from the end of May to the end of September;
• Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
• Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.
