Description

Constructed in the mid 1970’s by a maritime entrepreneur, and recently renovated by the current owners, Villa Frontemare has retained the elements of maritime design comprising split level rooms, multiple relaxation areas and maritime decorations. Furnished in a comfortable style, the villa is elegantly presented for a wonderful holiday between sunny days on the beach, relaxing meals at the villa, excursions and fun filled evenings in Viareggio’s lively centre.

The villa is located on a quiet street opposite a typical Tuscan pine forest (pinetta), part of the National Versilia Park. A tall fence assures the privacy of guests and there is car parking for 2 cars in addition to 6 bicycles for guest use.

Steps lead up to the entrance door that opens into a foyer on the middle level. There is are wooden staircases that provide access to the upper and lower floors, and 5 stairs lead up to the first living room with a lounge and two arm chairs, a TV with video and surround sound. Adjacent to the room is a fireplace with a table and chairs, ideal for cards or other games. Three stairs lead up to a further lounge room with large terrace, and adjacent to the room is an office corner with a desk, computer and printer. The house has WiFi.

There is one bedroom on the ground level and a service bathroom (no shower or bathtub). The stairs lead to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower and tub and a further bathroom with a shower. One of the double bedrooms opens out onto a terrace overlooking the front yard and pinetta.

On the lower ground floor is a well equipped kitchen, dining/living room with large windows opening out onto the back terrace and a further full bathroom. From this level it is possible to gain access to the garage and there is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

The garden surrounding the villa is a typical Mediterranean garden with roses, citrus trees and lawns. Outside the kitchen and lounge room windows in the back yard is a pergola with a table for 10 people – ideal for summer dining and relaxing in the summer breezes.

Villa Frontemare is situated in a quiet street in front of a large pine forest park. There are 6 bicycles available for guest use and the villa is 400m from the beach down quiet roads (but crossing a main road). The centre of Viareggio is 1km away.

2012 prices are provisional and may be revised, however most owners will accept bookings at 2011 prices until the new prices are confirmed. Please send an enquiry and we'll respond with a firm quote.

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of €800 is payable on arrival at the villa. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras.

Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros):

• Final cleaning costs are included in the villa rental amount. Additional mid week cleaning may be requested but will be charged as an extra;
• One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €12.00 per change per person;
• Utilities costs (except heating) are included in the villa rental price subject to the following;
• Electricity is included in villa rental up to250 kw per week. Additional consumption will be charged at the rate of €0.45 per kw;
• Water and domestic gas consumption are included in the rent of the villa;
• Heating (if required) is an additional cost based on the consumption of gas at a cost of €4 per m3;
• Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;

• Additional services such as car rental, in house cooking services and additional maid service can usually be arranged, but please request at the time of booking
• Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
• Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.
