Description Villa dei Putti is in a lovely position near Lake Trasimeno on the Tuscan-Umbrian border. It is comprised of a main villa on two levels with 7 luxury double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a dining/breakfast area with open kitchen and covered furnished veranda for alfresco dining. The ground floor bedrooms open out onto the gardens surrounding the villa whilst the upstairs bedrooms are accessed via a separate external staircase. Eighty metres away is a separate climate controlled annex comprising luxurious living / dining room with direct access to the garden and a fully equipped kitchen. Extensive lawns surround the villa and annex and lead down to the swimming pool (6m x 12m) and pergola area. The views from the gardens and pool are over vineyards and planted crops, whilst the views from the first floor of the accommodation are towards Lake Trasimento and Castiglione del Lago. Daily excursion to famous localities in Tuscany and Umbria include Montepulciano, Perugia, Cortona, Siena and Pienza. Midweek maid service is included in villa rental and a home cooking service is available at a modest additional cost.

This locality
Castiglione del Lago on Lake Trasimeno is a lovely medieval village on a promontory and has a beautiful square and cobbled streets. The old town perches above the lake on a rock promontory inside its preserved walls and is surmounted by a renaissance castle. Boat trips are available daily to Isola Maggiore, and from there to Isola Polvese (a nature reserve) and Passignano sul Trasimeno. Castiglione has attractive free beaches, restaurants, bars and excellent shops, as well as an unrivalled atmosphere. It is a centre for culinary delights. Free parking is available outside the city walls. There are swimming pools nearby and an excellent supermarket on the outskirts of the town. > more

Special Notes for Villa dei Putti, Tuscan Border, Italy Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €1,500.00 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure.
- The season for pool opening is from May to October;
Services included and extras: - Cleaning - included in the villa rental price is daily maid service, 6 times per week, Final cleaning is an extra payable locally in the amount of €300.00 and not included in weekly rental.
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included. Additional changes may be requested at the cost of €12 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
- Additional maid service can be requested at a cost of €18 per hour
- Telephone calls and internet connection will be based on consumption at 30 cents per unit;
- Electricity consumption is included in the rental price of the villa, however use of airconditioning is an extra payable locally at the cost of €5 per bedroom per day
- Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas
- Kitchen gas and water costs are included
- High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of € €50 per week
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
