Casa Trasimeno consists of four splendid apartments in the centre of the lakeside hamlet of Monte del Lago which dates back to medieval times of the 11th century. Each of the apartments has an independent entrance from the tiny streets of the village and the owners have lovingly restored the original stone walls and fire places, whilst adding modern all comforts including air conditioning, satellite TV, dishwashers and central heating.

Description The position of Casa Trasimeno on the lake of the same name is a great attraction in itself. The ancient village is on a hillside providing direct access to the lake which is wonderful for swimming, and equipped with a lakeside bicycle track and picnic areas. By car it is possible to reach Umbrias main arterial road in just a few minutes, providing quick access to Umbria and Tuscany's principle destinations. For those preferring a swimming pool, the owners have established a concession for the use of the pool of a nearby restaurant (3.5km) for no added cost. The four apartments of Casa Trasimeno have been lovingly restructured, retaining their original architectural characteristics externally, but completely modernised from an internal perspective. Comfortable beds, fly screens on all windows, air-conditioning, central heating, fully equipped kitchens and harmonious soft furnishings combine to offer comfortable accommodation in a medieval context.
Position There is a public car park at the top of the town where guests can leave their cars. From there it is two hundred metres walk down to the apartments. Baggage can be dropped off at the apartments by car. Distance - Lakeside - 350 m

A panoramic rooftop terrace overlooking Lake Trasimeno, carefully restored structural arches and high cathedral type ceilings define the character of the two bedroom apartment, Archetto. The entrance is off a pedestrian only street and the apartment is set out over two levels.

Please enquire for rates and availability. 2011 prices are provisional and may be revised, however most owners will accept bookings at 2010 prices until the new prices are confirmed. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in respect to additional charges and extras applicable to rental villas and apartment accommodation. Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of €200/€150 is payable on arrival at the property. The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. General Information: - Normal arrival times are between 15:30 (3:30pm) and 19:00 (7pm). Departure is by 9:30 on the day of departure.
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager.
Services included and extras: - Cleaning costs are included in weekly rentals
- One complete set of bed and bath linen per week is provided. Beach/pool towels are not provided;
- Electricity consumption is based on metered use at 30 cents per kw
- Heating, if required, is payable on the basis of consumption of gas
- Kitchen gas and water costs are included
- High chairs and cots are available at an additional cost of € €50 per week
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
