Villa Palombella is a lovely country house, immersed in lush countryside with a very romantic feel, situated in one of the greenest areas of Umbria, close to the Tuscan border. Surrounded by a superbly landscaped garden, with a mature vegetation of shrubs, olive and fruit trees, the villa is set in a panoramic position, enjoying stunning views over the green rolling hills.

DescriptionThe ancient farmhouse of Villa Palombella was recently restored with great attention to maintaining the original features and as a result it has been transformed into an extremely charming country villa. A thick and fragrant jasmine vine covers the back of the house, while mulberry, cherry and fig trees provide natural shade throughout the verdant gardens. There is also a vegetable patch is that is tendered with great care by the gardner. Our villa guests are usually supplied with fresh an ongoing supply of fresh vegetables. Only a few metres away from the house there is an independent annexe, which offers romantic accommodation for couples wishing to be on their own. Further down in the garden is an inviting, private (10x12x depth 1,50 m.) swimming pool, enclosed by broom and rose bushes.
The interiors, comfortable and cosy, are full of character, furnished with love for details with period pieces, and provided with all modern comforts. Thanks to its location, at only 15 km from the A1 Motorway, the villa is ideally placed for daily excursions towards the numerous art centres both of Umbria and Tuscany.

Refundable security deposit A refundable security deposit of € 300.00 is payable on arrival at the villa (can be in equivalent $US or £GBP). The deposit will be refunded on final inspection excepting in the event of damage or for the deduction of extras. Additional services and charges - payable locally on arrival (in Euros): - All cleaning fees are included in the villa rental price;
- One set of bed and bath linen per week is included in the rental cost. Additional changes can be requested and will be charged at €10.00 per change per person;
- Late arrival fees - we will endeavour to accommodate, but cannot guarantee to satisfy requests for late arrival. The cost of pre-arranged late arrival (if available) will be advised at the time of booking. Unforeseen delays resulting in out of hours arrivals (if available) will incur a charge of € 50.00 payable to the local manager;
- Utilities including electricity, water and cooking gas are included in villa rental
- Heating will be charged according to the consumption of gas at €4.80 per cubic metre
Other information - The season for pool opening is from mid May to the end of September;
- Baby sitting services can usually be organised locally by the area manager;
- Boats and bikes hire, food hampers, cooking and many other services mentioned on our booking form can be pre-arranged and prices will be provided on application.

Nearby localities
San Casciano dei Bagni is a lovely small village and thermal spa area in the hills of the Chiana valley. The picturesque village is surrounded by typically tuscan landscape - rolling hills, olive groves and lovely pencil cypress trees. At 580m of altitude the summer climate is most pleasant and the vegetation around the town is rich as a result of the thermal springs (37° - 42°C).> more
